I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a member in good standing with the Ontario Association for Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). I hold a Bachelor's degree with honours in Psychology from the University of Guelph, as well as a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University. I have over seven years of experience in various mental health fields, primarily working with adults with comorbid mental health concerns as well as individuals of marginalized, vulnerable populations.
Going forward when my caseload is open again, I will be focusing on working with any and all relationship dynamics for Relationship Therapy, those healing from past Domestic Violence, and NeuroInclusive folks!

From a very young age, I knew I wanted to help others and advocate for the importance of addressing and treating mental health, just as we do our physical health. A quote which has resonated with me throughout my childhood, studies and careers is "be who you needed when you were younger" — this quote helps serve as an important reminder and guide through my therapeutic relationships.
I work from a very client-centered, eclectic, biopsychosocial approach and incorporate a variety of therapeutic modalities to best meet and support the needs and goals of each individual client. We are all such unique, complex people; and so, I firmly believe there is no "one size fits all" approach to therapy. In my experience, it is more effective to collaboratively establish a treatment plan which best resonates with you. My personal lived experiences help me to truly empathize and hold space for clients- meeting you where you are at.
Some of the evidence-based therapeutic modalities and trainings I pull from include: Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Trauma Informed Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy(SFBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing (MI),Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), & Certified Family Trauma Professional Training (CFTP).
I feel truly honoured and privileged to assist people in navigating the stormy waters they may find themselves in, throughout various points of their lives. I aim to always be a safe, supportive, uplifting person and to help clients gain greater self-awareness and emotional resilience, develop coping tools/strategies, and to build healthier relationships with themselves, and others. Helping others transform and reframe their issues and struggles into life-enhancing opportunities and personal growth is my passion. We often forget that being truly heard and listened to can be such a cathartic and powerful experience. I strive towards making every client feel truly heard, valued, and empowered, by holding space for you to share openly and honestly. I look forward to working together to help you achieve your goals and lead a more fulfilling, happier life —one day at a time!
